She was my start for the Cloth Souls Doll Club round robin amongst members. Each doll started as the bare body & head, with the face. She was passed four times - once for undergarments, once for outer garments, once for hair, and once for accessories. There was a story that went with each doll, via a journal, and everyone added their part of the story. The theme? "Queen of..." I made mine the Queen of the Swamp, and started her tale as the orphan of the Queen of the Gypsies, who didn't quite fit.
Tonight, I picked her up, complete. She is just marvelous! Everyone was so creative with both doll and story. Just look:
Can you believe that dress that looks like a lily pad in bloom? And her hair!
She even has swampy green gotchies!
I'm absolutely in love with my Swamp Queen. Thanks to all the great people who put their artistic touches on her!

she looks great :D everyone did a great job!
She is the best doll in ages! The shoes are the swampie bestest. Her mouth is what dragged me in. She looks a little smug, but at another angle, just pretty much pleased with how she is. She must be from a very friendly swamp.
What an excellent round robin that must have been! You have the Queen of Queens. And I bet you had a blast dressing the other Queens. Love the lily pad skirt. Doesn't she need a little green froggie to be her familiar? :o)

Sue, love your swamp queen! What a clever idea, making her skirt like a lily pond. Just awesome!

She turned out wonderful. You are all so talented.
Such a great idea to have the lilly pad dress. I love it!
hahaha...she's great! what a talented bunch you are.... and how fun to be able to do a round robin.... I don't know if I would be any good at one. I'd probably blank out when my turn came 'round...and not be able to think up anything to add....
Love the symbolic frog on the lily pad! Beautifully interpreted.
She is adorable!! Looks like it was a fun project.
