Before and After

Remember this before photo of a project piece?

Well, it's done!  I didn't think it would be done this quickly, as we both had some concerns about starting it.  We still need lamps and other "fluff" for the top, but the drawers have been put to good use already, storing photo albums and old photos not yet in albums!

I haven't been able to get an accurate photo of the shade of green to upload here.  It looks right on my monitor, but when I upload it to the blog, it distorts.  Just take it from me that it isn't quite so vivid, OK?

Edited to add this photo of one of the doors.  Hopefully, this shows the green a little better:

Love the color of the wall with the painting! Perfect. Glad to hear the green is not that vivid! Even I think it looks bright. But of course, the fluff will tame it.

No matter how I edit the photos, I can't get it to look the way it does in real life. I've tried to make changes and to take new photos several times since I first put up this post, and just can't get it right. You'll have to come see for yourself!

I think it looks really cool especially against the wall color!

The 'after' is so much better than the before!!! Even if the color is that shade, its still better than the brown!!! Now you just need some teal or aqua candlestick lamps!

What a difference. I love the color it brings out the little drawers, or what look like little drawers, maybe they're big ones. And the cabinet doors. Very nice. The wall color looks great with the cabinet and the art piece.
