DIP - Asia Ancient Icon
This doll was begun during Pearl Moon's online class in (I think) 2005. In-process projects got sidelined during the move, and it's taken me this long to pick most of them back up again.
I'm almost done - just her teeny beaded shoes remain to finish.
Not sure about her pants from the back - yes, I added all the ribbon and beads to the fabric - but this looks a little like Uncle Sam gone wrong, doesn't it?
She's charming, Sue! I wouldn't have made the "uncle Sam" connection, but the back does look less Asian than the front! LOL!! I wish I had taken this class, that looks like a fun doll to make.
She's wonderful Sue, and if I remember correctly, that class required us to sculpt our own faces - yours turned out perfectly. I agree that the back and the front of the pants don't quite match, but I gotta tell you... I like the stars. Are you going to make the whole set?

The beaded bra is fantastic! I love all the beading - especially the face cabachon.
Hi Sue,
I love all the beadwork on the doll. Why didn't you make the back of the pants the same as the front. I like the front better. :)
Hugs
I think she is lovely. So much of work on it. Especially the beading part you must have a lot of patience for it.
