Just a quick update on being somewhat creative! I've been in a group for several months now, owned by Chaska Peacock, called Creative Sparks. Sort of mini-classes and inspiration all rolled into one. (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CreativeSparks/)
We've been working on a Healing Sun doll, and this is what I've managed so far. I still have quite a bit to do!
I was so in love with the beaded fringe, I decided to make myself a "healing necklace" too. There was something about the pink/orange/purple combo that made me so happy!

I like your doll very much! Can't wait to see what else you add. Great choice of face, too!
she is very pretty :D very warm looking.
Sue,
I love your doll! It is so fun to see what each person does with a project. We each have such different visions! I think the brooch her face is mounted on is spectacular! The fabric is incredible and the fringe unbelievable! All of your beading is marvelous! I also really enjoyed looking at your blog and seeing all your wonderful dolls and sewing projects.

Sue,
This is delightful! I love your medaillon and I understand why you fell in love with that fringe! It is wild. I love those colors as well! Great job!
Oh Sue! She is wonderful! I LOVE her!

Wow! I love the doll, and I love the colours used.
I think concept challenges like this are such a great way to stimulate creativity. If it wouldn't be an inappropriately too personal question, I'd love to know the symbolism you chose... my own "healing sun" would be much different. Thanks for the idea!
It is gorgeous!
That is beautiful! Orange is starting to grow on me.
I love your Healing Sun Doll! Love the colors they are right up my alley! :)
The necklace is nice too.
She is very stunning Sue, very sunshiny!!
OH, I love healing dolls! This one looks fabulous and that fringe is gorgeous so I can understand you wanting a necklace to match.
The doll is coming great, like the colors and beads a lot!
