A little warmth, a little water, and that poor confused iris opened. The edges look a little shriveled, but it still released that unique iris scent into the kitchen when the first bloom opened.
So uplifting.
I’m still Lolo’s Child, but pivoting a bit to embrace one of her battle cries, “Another Adventure.” Sharing life challenges in my seventh decade, but occasionally sharing art and joy, as well.

It is a gorgeous colour. It looks as though it is a paper flower.
