This week's City Fresh provided two kinds of fruit - small yellow apples, and peaches. We also got a standard eggplant, and four different kinds of peppers. I think I'm going to try making a pepper relish this afternoon. We used the "swap" box to trade in our kale and get a second head of buttercrunch lettuce - Gerry loves that lettuce on a sandwich.
We've gotten garlic almost every week and I'm loving it. Easy as it is, I may never buy the jars of pre-chopped garlic again. I'm starting to feel the same way about that as I do Cheez-Whiz.

LOL! I completely agree - real garlic is so cheap and easy to prepare and the jarred stuff so nasty. Oh how I envy your gardeners their production - we usually have bumper crops, but not much is growing here this year. What a beautiful display.
HI Sue!
What is the "swap box"? Is it at the place where you pick up your basket? How does it work? Our produce is delivered so I want to know how this works. Other people pick up their baskets each week so we may have such a thing nd I don't know about it! this year our baskets have been really heavy on all kinds of tomaotes!
