We've noticed these birds on the wire facing the sunrise the past few mornings. Do you suppose this is what they mean by "a party line"? Here's a shot with a little more perspective. Pretty morning, isn't it?
I love the bird/sunrise picture. When our son was about 6 I remember him looking at birds on the telephone line and telling me that the black birds were "having a tea party again". Thanks for making me smile this morning! Luna

I wonder if those are Purple Martins. We LOVE to see them lined up here on our phone lines because they are known mosquito eaters!
