I know, I know...I shouldn't whine. Home is where Gerry is, right? Somehow, though, this is not how I pictured spending our golden years.

I have to remind myself, often, of the time we spent apart, and how much more unhappy I was being without him, but in a warm climate. We women may make the home, but we can't make it to our specifications unless our men are happily and gainfully employed! When I remember those bad but warmer times, I'm quickly reminded of how difficult it is for us to be apart, so...I can endure!

Holy crap! That's a whole lot of snow.But you are right- climate isn't as important as being with our sweeties.

Leave it to Kai to say this: I think you are SO LUCKY! You get to be together with your sweetheart AND you get - sigh - SNOW! I've given up on the sweetheart part, but I'm not giving up on the snow yet! LOL!
