I’m still Lolo’s Child, but pivoting a bit to embrace one of her battle cries, “Another Adventure.” Sharing life challenges in my seventh decade, but occasionally sharing art and joy, as well.
Yippie! Good to hear you were allowed to make your own decision regarding HRT. After all, your are an intelligent woman and able to weigh the pros and cons. Good for you!
I have recently found out what you poor guys have to pay for your meds, and now your story just puts the icing on the cake.
How dare a doctor refuse to give you treatment that you request, in the full and certain knowledge of what it may or may not do to you? Such arrogance is beyond belief.
Congratulations on your win. Don't ever let anyone tell you that depression is the same as hormone imbalance. For many many years I had PMS - one of the worst cases my doctor had ever seen. Sure depression was part of it, but not even half, not even a quarter.

Hang in there, and use the anger.
